 I try and catch this photo while the head table is still clean just before dinner starts!

I hope the Bride and Groom remember to toast with the same glasses years later on their anniversary!

Speeches

 I take photo's of all who give speeches but I remember to catch the bride and groom at several angles. At the moment they make eye contact,  during a touching moment makes for a really touching photo.

 First Dance

 I take many photo's during the bridal dance.  I like to catch some candids and then get a couple with the Bride and Groom looking at the camera.

 The Bride

 I always include a photo session where I take her too a nicely lit area and take many photos while coaching many different facial expressions from her. Individually the photos are nice but they also allow for nice collages during post processing.

 Group Shots

 

Timing: During Reception after dinner, the speeches and dances

 

 These photos are fun. It is really the only time I need to be assertive as a photographer to get everyone lined up and ready to go. 

 

LOL- I get a kick out of the Bride and groom as they help me coordinate these types of photo's. it is cute! They want the picture but they also want to get back to their celebration.

 During my day's as an assistant photographer I liked how I was shown how to set up and take these photo's.   I wait a bit..... for one of them to say something funny, in which they both grin then I snap the photo.

 Misc. Candids

Timing: Throughout Reception

 

 Throughout the night I collect photos of the groom and add to the collection. Out of the many pictures I take, a few are selected for a collage.

I also wait for a break in the action to make sure I catch a good ring photo under ideal lighting.
